for ferrets?

I would not give my ferrets fruits and vegetables or popcorn. Their digestive track does not like it. They are natural carnivores and require high protein diets. Their digestive track is short and they don't have something I think is called a "secum" which has to do with
the ability to digest certain stuff. Although raisins, bananas and peanut butter are used a lot for ferrets as treats they are really not "good" for them. It would be better to give them cooked egg yolk and cooked chicken. For regular food, a high quality ferret food like
Totally Ferret or Iams kitten food or Eukanuba kitten food with chicken - stuff like that is good. Also provide 8 in 1's Ferretone for their skin and coat.
