Subject: : Brown Stuff In Front of Ears

I am hoping that someone can give me an idea of what I
may be dealing with here. I've noticed a bit of
brown "gunk" in the fur between Plunder's Ears and
eyes. I washed it off the first time thinking he got
into something.
Luna, I could be way off on this, but I recently went through this
exact thing. My Bria came to me one day with this brown stuff all
through her fur. I could not figure for the life of me what this
was. I later found out that Bria had developed a small tumor and at
the time it was not really even visible. The tumor had developed on
her ear and she scratched it and it bled. I am not saying that your
ferret has a tumor but I am implying that it is dried blood. It was
exactly as how you described it.
