Subject: RE: foaming at the mouth

My little girl Jessi scared the daylights out of me this
morning! I woke her up to give her a treat this morning, and a
few minutes later , she just started to foam at the mouth, and
walk around in circles, apparently in an attempt to get away
from it. (at this point, she had not eaten anything yet) This
lasted about 1 minute, then she was fine, ate some nutrical,
and went back to sleep as if nothing happened! She has been
eating, pooping & drinking just fine since. What could have
this been? Some type of seizure? She had blood tests done 6
months ago, before bi-lateral adrenal surgery, and everything
was fine. She is 7 years old, and blind. Does not chew on
anything, and eats only her kibble, Nutrical, and occasionally
a piece of banana. Does anyone have an idea what this could be
a sign of? Possibly low blood sugar? I want to take her to the
vet if needed tomorrow, so what kinds of tests should I ask
for? Thank you for your thoughts. Michele& Jessi
