Whenever my ferrets get stuffy noses, I put very hot
water plus a teaspoon of salt in a bowl and then soak
a facecloth in the solution. Squeeze out the excess
water then gently place the cloth over the ferret's
MOUTH and NOSE, so he HAS TO INHALE the vapor! Do this
several times and repeat 3-4 times a day and you will
find that the ferret will breathe much easier!
It would not hurt to use the VICK's on a cloth
attached on the OUTSIDE of the cage where the ferret
is laying, but definitely NOT WHERE IT CAN GET INTO
THE FERRET'S EYES! I personally use PPP-PROCARE, a
similar product, only liquid, which is absorbed into
the cloth and goes on emitting the vapors longer-Angela
