The marking is done kind of intermittently all the time. They will
drag themselve over things, dribbling pee. It is the way a whole
male in rut lets the females know who he is, and that he is
available. It is not 'normal' behavior for a neutered male,
especially a male that was neutered before reaching sexual maturity.
