Subject: Re: Addison's after unilateral adrenalectomy?
Hi, Pam,
Nana's condition does sound like Addison's based on my experiences with
Pertwee and Ryo-Ohki. The inability to regulate body temperature,
dehydration, the electrolyte readings, poor color, lethargy, and
eventual collapse all point to a developing Addisonian Crisis. Her
positive response to florinef and pred would also indicate Addison's.
The good news is that, if Pertwee is any example, she should be fine.
All the best,
Caity
