Subject: What to do when an ad sits over a message
This post will tell how to avoid reposting or changing web
programs to see a full message, but it is also serving as a
second test of the special notice function for moderators. If it
appears in the digest instead of as a stand-alone the special
notice function is not working with a certain moderation setting
since the Yahoogroups crash.
Here is what to do when an ad is on top of part of message that
you want to read on the website (since it will be fine in the digest
since the digest doesn't take any attachments). Just go to the
Message section at
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/Ferret-Health-list
as you normally would, then look at the top or the bottom for the
words "Expand messages". Select this by clicking on it. The
messages will then appear in sort of digest format with no
woven in. (Tips: This is also a way to get full addresses easily,
and to not have take time hittting "next" over and over. When you
finish reading one page just hit "Next". Do not expect it to print
out cleanly since it doesn't wrap all messages when printed.)
Typically (it depends on lengths of posts) the expanded pages
seem to have 2 to 3 full pages for each page of unexpanded
messages.
