There is something called (sadly for me) after my favorite
pudding: Butterscotch Pudding Runs. Your description sounds
like these. One thing that sometimes causes these is
insulinoma.
Since you also mention lethargy I certainly would have the
ferrret's blood glucose levels checked if I were you.
