Subject: NEED A VETS ADVICE!!!!!!!
i need some advice on what to do with my 6 year old KRAMER, he lost
his best friend Hoover in jan and we thought that he was in a
depression but that`s not the case, we have had him to the vet 4
times in the last month, he`s not eating very well, he`s gritting
his teeth so she (the vet) thought it was an ulser so she gave him
pepto and amoxil, he purked up a little but not back to himself, so
we took him back again,more blood work and all of the blood work was
low (mabey from not eating well) all he wants to do is sleep, he
don`t want to play anymore, he is also having some trouble walking
somtimes almost like his back legs want give out on him, we have
noticed hair loss on his tail and his back end witch say`s to me
adrenal problems, that`s what his brother died from.
i do have a ultrasound apt for next wed in allentown pa but i don`t
think we can wait that long to see what is causing this.
my question is should we just let her (the vet) open Kramer up or
should we try to hold off and wait for the ultrasound?????
do you think that Kramer would be strong enough for sugery??
keep in mind that he has been sick for a month he weighs 2.1 pounds
she said he hasn`t lost any weight but he has lost mussel tone, and
now he`s started getting a little diarrea to, i`m at a loss i really
don`t know what to do,i want to do what`s best for him but
everything were trying just don`t seem to be working.
any advice would be great!
