Subject: ADV diagnosis
Well, it's confirmed. Snoop's ADV blood test came back positive.
That, unfortunately, explains why he can't use his hind legs.
This is very tragic for me, there are 37 ferrets in my sheler.
There is currently a post being circulated regarding the distemper
shot for infirmed ferrets. I have 16 ferrets scheduled for shots in
a week. It would seem to me that giving this distemper shot to a
ferret who has inevitably been exposed to ADV would be a bad idea.
Does anyone have info on this?
