If he is still grinding his teeth, it is likely that he still has an
ulcer. The combination of amoxi and pepto is not the best treatment
for ulcers (it actually is 66% of treatment for Helicobacter) but
would not be my first choice for ulcer treatment. If you would check
the archives at the FHL site, as well as my page on gastric ulcers at
http://www.afip.org/ferrets, you will find some good information. I
think that a shift in ulcer treatment may be required, especially
incorporating Carafate, a mch better drug to help with ulcer
treatmen. Additionally, as you are having trouble with duck soup
recipes off of Ferret Central, my section on Feeding the Sick Ferret
at the AFIP site may give yo some hints on how to make sure that he
eats better.
