Subject: Re: green urine

I want to say thanks to the people who have been giving me info on this.
Here's an update.
The other day someone from the vet called and wanted to know the age of my
son, and when I acquired each pet in my home. And what was done with
Fozzy's Body.
I asked to speak to the vet but he was not in any of the offices that day.
Today another person called and said the vet "thinks" it may be TB., wanted
to know if I can exhume Fozzy's body and bring it in for testing.
Wouldn't it be to late for this? Fozzy passed on Feb. 23rd.
I asked her If she knew the name of the Mycobacterium found, she said no,
just the vet thinks it might be TB.
So, what do I do now?
All pets seem healthy, how would this happen? What is the likeliness it is
TB and what will become of my ferrets, cat & dog?

Do I exhume Fozzy's body? I myself cannot do it.

Also is there some way to test my other animals for TB?
And how would they have gotten it? They don't go anywhere but to the vets.
Except the dog goes outside of course. They eat animal food only.

I have so many questions I could go on and on but I won't.

I tried to get an appointment for my son and I to get a TB test today But
could not because they had no openings for appt... I explained the whole
thing to my family DR and he does not seem to concerned.

DR. Williams if you read this, I tried to email you direct but it bounced
back if you could please email me direct I would appreciate it so much.

Thankyou for reading,

I don't know how green is green in Avery's case but I did a
search
for you in the past FHL posts (which can be done by using the
search box at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/Ferret-Health-list )
and found #2166 and #2140 to possibly be ones you should ask
your vet about if it's green enough to worry you. Both are by
reputable vets who know ferrets well and specifically address
possible health causes. You can go to them directly, or can
search on "green", or can go back through the "message" pages
to reach them.
