Subject: Re: Help Urinary Tract Blockage!!! ALEX is BETTER!!!

Thank you for everyone's help and advice. Checked with the vet today
about adrenal problems and he said that he was very familiar with the
tie in between adrenal gland problems and dysuria (sp??). He reported
that it is definitely not an adrenal problem, the blood levels are all
ok and the prostrate was normal. It turns out to have just been a very
bad bladder infection that got out of hand and inflamed his bladder to
the point where he could not squeeze out fluids. After bladder surgery
anti-biotics and some anti-inflamitorys, I am ecstatic to report that
while still very tired Alex is back to eating by himself, drinking and
most importantly urinating again. While the vet says he is still not
completely out of the woods yet he is well on his way.
I never thought I would be so happy to see half the trash cans in the
house tipped over.
Thanks again for your concern
Kent
