Subject: Spindle cells

Hi again

First, thanks to Dr Williams + Patty for their replies.
Secondly, re. Dr Williams offer of pathological help , I would
be very much interested in taking this further as Zorro (
Biscuit is my well ferret , who I have now obtained a playmate
for) has now got me totally confused! Two days after I posted
Zorro looked v.unhappy, hadn't eaten all day + was
disinterested in anything. I decided that I would have him put
to sleep that night after my kids had gone to bed. I took the
kids upstairs + on my return found Zorro pinching food out of
the dogs bowl and looking a lot happier. He got a reprieve.
The next day his abdomen was still v.swollen but on palpation
I thought that the lump seemed to be smaller surrounded by
fluid. I took a sample of i/p fluid expecting to find blood
(meaning the tumour had ruptured) but just found serous fluid.
He is now on lasix and his abdomen has gone down (though
obviously the tumour is still there) and is a lot happier in
himself. His appetite has picked up and he is more active.
As for the tumours that were removed , the labs have quite a
few samples , but there were a couple of occassions where the
same lumps regrew due to surgical excision not being wide
enough and so were removed again. I have these in formal
saline so could either send you those, contact the labs or
both!
Please contact me as to how I go about sending samples to you
Many thanks
Estelle, Zorro, Biscuit + Nickel(the new
playmate)
