I don't have any experience with fitting a wheelchair to a ferret, but
I have read about it being done. I remember a while back reading a
really inspirational story about woman adopting a paralyzed ferret
that was going to be euthenized by his owners. I guess the vet
couldn't do it becuase this ferret had so much personality still, and
called this woman to see if she would adopt him. Anyway, my point is
that she fashioned a wheelchair for the ferret and he loves to run
around in his new chair. I can't remember the website now, but I will
keep searching for it and let you know (anyone else on the list
remember the site?). I did find two other sites that fashion
wheelchairs to pets ... mainly dogs, but I did see a couple of bunnies
with wheelchairs. I'm guessing a ferret wouldn't be too much of a
