Actually, I have been told by a range of breeders in the U.S. that
their ferrets which do not come from the U.S. wind up with
similar rates of adrenal disease over time, so don't automatically
discount it as a possibility. Whole ferrets appear to have lower
rates and later on-set ages (though studies do NOT exist to see
if that holds as an actual fact), but it sure can happen, anyway.

Might not be an adrenal growth but don't discount it out of hand as an option.
