Hi Nicole,
As far as I know the distemper vaccine will not cause any
problems in AD positive ferrets. The question is wether the
positive ferrets will be able to mount an adequate immune response
to get protection from the vaccine. I would continue to vaccinate
yearly,
but only during healthy periods.
