Subject: Re: Paudarco - A Question for the Vets

Thank you Jerry... I was able to do some sleuthing with my vet yesterday
and found we do have a source of Pau d'Arco right here in town. A
special angel is sending me some to try on both my 11 year old girl with
fibrosarcoma, and my 9 year old boy with cutaneous lymphosarcoma. She
mentioned 0.5 cc's and that it would drop or lower blood glucose levels.
My vet has asked that I initially try to coincide the giving of this
herbal medicine with his availability should anything serious happen,
which I thought was an excellent thing to think about. I personally have
no experience with this remedy and so it doesn't hurt to be cautious.

Although I am aware of the true nature of each of the cancers mentioned
here, I feel I owe it to both ferrets, who have given me so much joy
over their time here with me, to at least try to either extend their
lives, or add quality to it. I am told that the cutaneous lymphosarcoma
will not respond to this type of therapy. In terms of the fibrosarcoma,
because it is a totally different form of cancer, it probably won't do
anything more than give me the peace of mind to know I tried. But I have
to try.

Once I have the medicine, I will compare the drop sizes to the amount it
makes in a syringe and see if the amount coincides. And if I see
improvement of any sort, I will be sure to post it here.

Thanks again!

hugs
betty and her blur o'fur
for the love of ferrets

Hi Betty,
I do not use Pau d'Arco, but Dr Susan Brown in Chicago does. She
recommends 3-5 drops twice a day in cases of lymphoma. I do not know if
it will help or not.
