Hello Betty. Best of luck with those two wonderfully old fur kids; 9 & 11
years old- wow! I hope you do get more quality and longevity of life. Hope I
am not repeating anyone here - digging back through some old files I found a
note that Pau D'Arco was recommended in Hillyer & Quesenberry book, I
believe in combination with vitamin C for ferrets with lymphoma. I don't have
the book to check. Best of luck with those two old sweeties!

[Sukie note: it's in a chapter written by Dr. Susan Brown (I think that Dr. Murray mentioned her as using it in an earlier post) on page 109 in the section "Palliative and Adjunct Therapy", and it is mentioned partly in relation to possibly helping decrease the risk of secondary infections, while the C is mentioned as an anti-oxidant. She considered after using them that they "do not represent cures for lymphoma but may be beneficial supplements to support the patient suffering from this disease", and mentions weight gain, increased activity level, etc.]
