Subject: scope for ferrets

Hello everyone,

I have a question about doing a procedure on ferrets with what I
believe is called and endoscope, actually a scope that they would use
to check a ferret if he was having intestinal or stomach problems, The
doctor would use the scope as in humans, it would be put down the
ferrets throat to look inside, while he is sedated.

Has anyone heard of this? Do any vets use this procedure to check for
potential problems in a ferret instead of surgery?

Just thought this might be less invasive than surgery.

Thanks,
