We were at the vet yesterday with Maggie (EG ferret) just having a quick check up and her doctor was telling me that there is suppose to be a new drug out that sounds like it's an alternative to Pred.
Instead of working throughout the system it stays in the stomach. Maggie was on PediaPred for her insuloma(sp) and the EG but we took her off in October when she and Butch got sick. She's now on Ivermecian (sp) .02 ml every 72 hours to help her tummy.
Does anyone know anymore about this new drug?
