I am not a vet, but according to the article Br. Burgess published in
the AFR, intermittant diarrhea can be a sign of IBD, and untreated,
IBD can eventually lead to an abdominal lymphoma. Someone was kind
enough to scan this article, and it can be found in the files section
of the FHL website. It is an excellent article, and well worth
reading.
I would think that a bowel biopsy would be in order. That way, you
can find out definitely what the problem is, and hopefully treat it.
