You want to look for a vet who is board certified in animal dentistry
and/or oral surgery. They are more apt to save the teeth with
fillings/crowns/etc. rather than just extract. I'm from Maryland and we
have one board certified animal dentist with offices in Baltimore and
Annapolis. There web site is www.AnimalDentalCenter.com. If MD is too
far for you to travel, maybe their web site can help you find a vet more
local to you. Its worth a try.
Good luck!
