our bridgette has a ruptured disk in the lower portion of her
spine; however, since she arrived in this condition we have no
idea what her experience was at the time of the injury. can your
vets try to manage the pain and swelling so you can wait and
see how merlin does? bridgette has some nerve damage along
with the ruptured disk so her legs don't work perfectly all the
time, but her physical challenges have never slowed her down. i
would hope that merlin can get past the pain to the point where
he can wear his injury like bridgette wears hers. of course the
two injuries could be totally different...perhaps just my wishful
thinking, but i sure hope this boy can get through the next few
days into the less-pain promised land so you can make a good
evaluation. good luck!
