Subject: Post insulinoma surgery complication-diabetes

Hi,

My 5 year old ferret has insulinoma surgery 2 weeks ago, and the tumor was
so large when it was removed along with 1/2 of the pancreas that she is now
insulin dependent. Has anyone had any experience with this. My vet says it
could be transient or permanent. I am having a hard time regulating her
type of insulin and a schedule.

I would appreciate any help!
