That's my experience with our Lady Ayeka as well. Her blood glucose has
to drop way down (as in the low 30s) before she starts showing any
symptoms. Then she crashes. There is little or no in between with her.
I still believe the insulinoma needs to be treated, either medically or
surgically. Since Ayeka is a healthy almost four year old, we're going to
opt for surgery in the near future.
Of course, I'm not a vet, and I tend to defer to the very good ferret vet
my weasels see.
