Subject: Coccidia Question..
I think me Rocky is a carrier of this..He was my first ferret and
then I got Roxie...She got sick and the vet said is was coccidia, so
she was but on amoxicillian and then was fine....Then I got two more
ferrets, Eugene and Marvin, both of them came down with coccidia
according to the vet...once more they where put on amoxicillian...I
am now going to be getting one more ferret..Is there anything I can
do to prevent this from happening? I would much prefer to just keep
a healthy ferret..The ferrets when they come in contact with this
get pretty sick...They don't play, don't eat or drink...etc...Or if
she does contract it what can I give them to help out...Thanks
