Subject: urine smell?
Hi Folks:
I hope people don't think this is too weird of a
question, but I have two breeder ferrets (from a
breeder, not that I breed) that I didn't get fixed
until they were about 1 year of age, and they have
always been oilier and their excrement smellier than
my two MF ferrets. One of the breeder boys just went
through adrenal tumors and surgery and his urine stunk
throughout the time. Now, my male MF's urine has
suddenly become a lot more yellow and a lot stinkier
(and I know this because, of course, he gave me a
sample on the floor as I was cleaning the litter box).
I just had him checked out at the vet who said he
looked perfectly fine so I have to ask, should I worry
based on stinky pee?
