If he is on a high enough dose for it to be given from pill form have
vet work out how much of the pill to give then cursh it and mix it
with Ferretone.

Gads, that is more like what we pay for compounded Proglycem (though
still higher than that) and we are in one of the nation's most
expensive areas. One of our's has to be on tiny doses for a
different need and her 120 ml bottle cost us less than that. You
should be paying a lot less. Speak to the pharmacy manager in case
there was an error and if they say there wasn't then buy the tabs
from the vet if possible, or use a different pharmacy.
