My old boys were entire until they were 4 and 5 years old or more.
Their urine does not stink, in fact it has less smell than my
husband's! And he has never ( as you Americans put it) been "fixed"!
The fresh urine of a healthy well-hydrated animal should not "stink",
so I think you should have a certain degree of concern if it really
does stink.
