Subject: Re: Lymphoma and not eating

I'm not an expert on Lymphoma, never having had a ferret with this
disease, but from all I've read, I'm curious how Arni's diagnosis was
made with all the relatively negative results of the test. X-rays
revealed nothing and there's no mention of a biopsy of any tissue.
Plus they're giving steriods to shrink the tumors but the x-ray
showed no masses... so, what tumors are we talking about?

I don't know. I think I'd press for a LOT more info from the vet on
how they came to the conclusion that Arni has lymphoma before I'd
accept this terrible diagnosis. I'm pretty sure this can only be
accurately diagnosed by a tissue biopsy, not bloodwork or x-rays.

I did and he said Arni has lymphoma and administered two shots of
steroids to shrink the tumors.
