Subject: bacterial infection
I have 11 ferrets, 2 dogs, 2 cats and umpteen fish, and my husband
here for over a year, we use nothing and have not had any bacterial
infections
here. I work in a busy peds ER and who knows what I bring home,
I am not a clean nut, in fact, sometimes the opposite-
My point, maybe the colloidal silver has nothing to do with not
having any infections.
If it works on the bad bacteria, it will also kill the good, and
since bacteria are living organisms, then why wouldn't it
affect living tissue the same?
I doubt it does anything, but if it is doing no harm then good,
just do some research before starting any kind of medicine,
whether herbal or prescription, or over the counter-
water can be toxic in large amounts, nothing is without some
possible side effects, if it is having some effect at all.

ps. If no traditional medicine worked I would use holistic
medicine, I just need to know how it works, why it works,
and see it has been used for years without reported
adverse reactions, another reason I am not one to run
out and get a new medication that just hit the shelves,
FDA approved or not.

I have had all our now 28 ( 2 adopted-out) ferrets, 1 dog, 8 cats, 1
rat, 1 rabbit and 14 white doves on small amounts (2 drops per water-
container-full) of COLLOIDAL SILVER (any brand, but "advance"
and "Silver Wings" have been reliable) every day for the last year
and a half. No bacterial infections of any sort.
