Subject: liquid heartworm preventative
I'm looking for a liquid heartworm preventative, as my new ferret will
not be conned into eating the Heartguard for cats tablets. I know Dr.
Murray said you could use the dog one, but I doubt if this guy will
eat that either. I tried mixing with baby food to no avail. I'm not
interested in Revolution, as I'm not sure that product has been tested
and approved for ferrets. If anyone knows of a liquid form and the
dose, I would be interested. My guy currently weighs just over 4 lbs
and is six months old. Of course, I plan on consulting with my vet,
but he is a long drive, and I like to email him beforehand to make
sure he has what I need.
