Injectible ivermectin can be suspended (dissolved?) in propylene glycol
and given to them orally. Ivermectin in the same drug found in
Heartgard. The suspension I give mine is 100 mcg/ml (that's
micrograms). They get .1cc per pound of body weight every month.

(I just did the figures and this seems to work out to 22mcg/kg - almost
four times Dr. Purcell's recommendation of 6mcg/kg in her book. Is my
math wrong or should I ask my vet about this?)

Ask your vet about mixing it up this way. My vet learned about this
from a very reputable ferret vet.
