Hillyer & Quesenberry in "Ferrets, Rabbits and Rodents" recommends that
you have your vet mix 0.3 ml of 1% ivermectin with 28 ml of propylene
glycol and dispense it in a brown glass bottle. Once a month give your
ferret 0.1 ml of the mix per pound of ferret or 0.2 ml per kg. This
gives a dose of 10mcg per pound. My vet charged me $6 for it.
