No, no, no, no, no. If she is otherwise healthy, go for the
surgery! My Lany is 7 y.o. and had her left adrenal gland removed in
December. I was very worried but she recovered beautifully and
quickly. Some people on this list had to convince me she would be
OK. This was her very first illness/surgery in her whole life.
If you're still concerned about surgery, perhaps look into Lupron
injections for her. But, be aware that, over time, the injections
will cost more than having the surgery done.
(I'm sure someone else will address the "cancer" statement)
