Subject: Lupron dosage
Hi,
This is a question to those that have used the Lupron 1mg dosage from
Professional ARts pharmacy. I'm concerned my vet over diluted the
vials for the 2mg 4month Lupron. I see that the 1mg, 4month is 0.5ml
diluent, how much is used for the 2mg 4month? The reason I am
questioning it is that he said it seemed like a large qty to give and
their was a fairly large lump under the skin after they received it.
If the vials were over diluted would this make the Lupron totally
ineffective? I have seen no improvement in either ferret that
received the 2mg dosage from him and it has been close to 4 months
now.
I want to make sure what the correct dosage is before considering
whether to try again with these two ferrets. Don't want to waste
another $200.
