I knew I forgot to mention something recently! Two European countries have already pulled Kava from shelves due to this, and in the U.S. there is some new evidence with a healthy (no underlying liver disease found) young woman who needed a transplant after using Kava that has some thinking that it might be bad for livers in general. Whether it would be for ferret livers or whether anyone actually uses kava on a ferret, I don't know, but precautions make sense.
