Subject: DOCP (Percorten-V) and CHF?

My best friend just sent me a link that said DO NOT USE DOCP in dogs
with Congestive Heart Failure. I know that dogs are dogs and ferrets
aren't dogs, but it makes me nervous knowing that my ferret with
dilative cardiomyopathy is on 0.2 ccs of DOCP every 3 weeks. Do I
have reason to be concerned or is this only in dogs? Tigger has been
treated with DOCP for a year and a half now. He is also on 0.05 ccs
lasix (10 mg/ml) twice a day, 0.5 mg Enacard once a day and 0.2 ccs
pheno twice a day (forget the strength).

The link containing the info is here:

Scroll down and read "CONTRAINDICTIONS."

Please, can anyone ease my mind?

Thanks in advance,
