I have 2 ferrets on Pred. each on 1 ml ea 2 x day.....1 initally
started off with Pediapred and after the perscription ran out I got
the tablets...I get the 20 mg tablet and put it in 20 ml of water...I
let that sit till it desolves (approx 1 hour)...and shake it each
time I use it to even it out...I then put the correct dosage in a
small bowl and put a dab of whipping cream with a tiny bit of water
and you would think they were getting a treat the way they gobble it
down...the tablets are a whole heck of a lot cheaper and since my
guys wouldn't take the Pediapred straight from the syringe anyway I
lost nothing by switching to tablets...actually I gained a couple of
bucks since it was so much cheaper with the tablet...I hope this
helps...I look for anyway that is less stressful on the ferret and
myself and this seems to work out best for me and my crew...
