Seems to depend on the ferret. We've had one thriving on
Florinef and a very low pred dose twice a day for about two years
( 2 and 1/2?) now; have heard of ones on it much longer never
having problems. Some do better on one or the other, so it's just
an individual thing.

If the dose is as minisule as the one used here I doubt it, though
I don't know for sure and will surrender the floor to those who do.
(0.015 mg. twice a day is used here -- teeny tiny but enough to
replace the missing adrenal product.)

We have, with no problems at all.

BTW, this is an individual -- our alpha -- who can leap right to
side of the bathtub, can climb clothing to reach a shelf almost 8
feet in the air while dragging along a sock with a tennis ball in it,
can... (You get the idea.)
