This happened with Cully, and I'd say that's what it was. It's not just
large muscles but also whiskers, toes, etc. It was unsettling, but I thought
of it as all the tension of fighting against the lymphoma leaving his body
so that he could rest, almost like a discharge of electricity. I don't
think it has anything to do with how the ferret was feeling right before
death; Cully was very calm and went to sleep peacefully in my arms.
