That, unfortunately, doesn't mean it's not adrenal. Romana had no hair
loss and a swollen vulva was her only symptom. She still had a large
tumor in her left adrenal gland.

In terms of relieving symptoms lupron can be quite effective. In terms
of curing the disease, well... it's useless. I agree 100% with Sukie:
the only cure for adrenal disease is surgery. If it's an incomplete
spay you still have a little girl that needs surgery. Lupron or
melatonin are only good choices when some other health problem prevents
surgery.

I know that's not what you want to hear. It's still the only answer I
have ever seen.

The one bit of good news I can offer: your little girl should come
through either surgery done by a competent, experienced ferret vet with
flying colors. Tomorrow is the eighth time I've had to take a ferret in
for adrenal surgery since I've owned ferrets. Mine have always come
through just fine.
