I have a ferret that is one of those exceptions too. He was
diagnosed with cardio in November of 2000 and is still going strong a
year and 4 months later. Tigger is on lasix and enacard for his
cardio and has also shown a sort of "healing process" since he was
put on the meds. His doc was amazed at how good his heart looked in
comparison to his first films! I was devastated (understatement)
when he was first diagnosed but he is doing so well that now I know I
over-reacted. :) Good luck with Ares, Susan. I hope that he also
proves to be an exception!
Sincerely,
Erin
