I'm even reluctant to suggest dosages of Alpha Lipoic Acid and CoQ-10 for a
ferret (which I have done) since there is no hard data showing that it is
effective for cardio, let alone suggesting it for a different species. One
suggestion would be to call around your local vets to find one who has/is
using it, and make an appointment to get his/her best estimate. I was hoping
that one of our vets here may have tried it on dogs or ferrets.

To go out on that thin limb that I climbed out on yesterday even further, I
meant to add to my post that if I were treating my ferret today with the
Alpha Lipoic Acid and CoQ-10, I'd also likely add L-Carnitine to the Duck
Soup. Has anyone else used these to "treat" cardiomyopathy in ferrets, and
with what results?
