Well, unless the pathology work has changed they don't get
human rhinoviruses.

It IS possible (downright common) for people to think that mild
influenzas or mild sinus infections are colds. Can be hard to
tell them apart sometimes, even when a person needs to. Also
possible to confuse allergic rhinitis with colds, and Steve and I
have shared life with a ferret who shared an allergy season (rag
weed) with me.

I'll copy this to Dr. Bruce Williams, as a vet pathologist who is a
ferret specialist he will be the one to know.
