Hi, everyone,

Romana was just five weeks old when we brought her home, and couldn't
eat the solid food she was given. I don't know if the kit in question
is younger than that, but I suspect that we're talking about a kit in
the 4-5 week old range. All we did was make a gruel/mush from ordinary
ferret food (Totally Ferret, KayTee FortiDiet because it's soft to start
with) and warm water. Romana (who was literally starving) ate for about
two days straight, once literally falling asleep with her head in the
food bowl. Anyway, she gained weight, grew strong, and had no health
problems for the next three and a half years.

I'm not saying that ordinary ferret food is the best answer. I'm just
saying that it worked for us and had our vet's blessings.

All the best,
Caity and the notorious nine
