PetAg actually makes more detailed milk mixes. Or at
least they used to. At a ferret show in 1996 I think,
I picked up info on it. They want you to buy large
amounts, tho. I posted the info ages ago on the FML.
I have the paperwork (buried someplace) on it still.
They have a ferret specific one, but you get it by
mixing two different formulas togethers.

I am not sure. They have transparent tummies and are
larger than mice and rats (which are often
successfully hand reared). They have tube shaped
mouths at that age - it probably is a combination of
wrong nutrition and asperation. Most likely
asperation.

Me, too. This is something that has always interested
me (hand rearing) and having had to do it myself a few
times (being successful and not successful) I'd like
to hear more on it, too.
