Subject: Re: rat tail

Seeing as it is now the time for them to be blowing their
coats, this rat tail may well be a result of that. I'd wait a
bit before going any further and see if any of it fills back
in. My Bren girl, has had a rat tail every summer for the last
3 years. This was the first year that I have obsessed over it.
It remains bare along one side until she starts getting her
winter coat in and then she has one of the prettiest tails
ever!

It's so difficult to decide about adrenal when coat changes
are happening. My vet usually says wait and see.
