Subject: Re: PUTTING KRAMER TO SLEEP????????

Jen,
My heart goes out to you and Kramer. It's so very hard when they are so sick
and we have to wrestle with the question of helping them let go. Everyone
told me that I would know when it was the right time to help Sundance, and
even though he seemed to have zero quality of life for ten weeks, I just
couldn't do it. Then, suddenly, he turned the corner and while he's not 100%
he's definitely back with us. Ferrets are really tough little guys, and you
have to be careful not to write him off too soon. I would listen to the
experts here on helping with the ulcers, keeping him as comfortable as
possible while his body tries to get past this crises. The adrenal may
respond to Lupron (Sundance's is) and the insuloma may respond to pred or
other meds.
You both are in our prayers,
Cay, Princess and the boys
